Unicode fonts work with Windows, Mac and other operating systems, so you can easily share or reuse translated content. Non-Unicode sources can also be platform-specific, which limits their usefulness. While a single Unicode font may not contain all possible Unicode characters (there are currently more than 136,000 characters in the UCS, with space for more than 1.1 million), Unicode fonts are eager to be as complete as possible and certainly a range of characters much larger than non-Unicode fonts. ![]()
